16 ottobre 2012: Cree annuncia i dati finanziari del primo trimestre fiscale del 2013, terminato il 23 settembre. Il fatturato della società si è attestato su 315,8 milioni di dollari, circa il 17% in più rispetto ai 269,0 milioni di dollari di fatturato registrati nel primo trimestre fiscale dello scorso anno e un 3% in più rispetto all’ultimo trimestre fiscale del 2012. L’utile netto concernente il primo trimestre fiscale 2013 è stato pari a 16,1 milioni di dollari, un aumento del 26% rispetto al primo trimestre dell’anno fiscale 2012.
Per l’intero anno fiscale 2012, Cree ha registrato ricavi pari a 1,16 miliardi di dollari, con una crescita di circa il 18% rispetto ai 988 milioni di dollari del 2011.

Introduzione di una nuova garanzia della durata di 10 anni a copertura della maggior parte delle soluzioni di illuminazione di Cree.
L’annuncio che Oyster Bay – New York, sta installando 4.000 apparecchi di illuminazione LEDway Road di Cree. E’ stato stimato che, grazie all’utilizzo dei prodotti di Cree, l’amministrazione sarà in grado di risparmiare circa 200.000 dollari all’anno sui costi dell’energia e della manutenzione degli apparecchi.

On October 22, 2013 Cree reported revenue of $391 million for its first quarter of fiscal 2014, ended September 29, 2013. This represents a 24 percent increase compared to revenue of $315.8 million reported for the first quarter of fiscal 2013, and a 4 percent increase compared to the fourth quarter of fiscal 2013.
